1: The servants, like everyone else, keep their distance from Matt. They try to stay away from him, and avoid having to interact with him.
ReplyDelete2: Tom treats Maria very poorly. He is very rude and mean to her, but since she is so ignorant of his true colours, she always forgives him and ends up getting tricked again the next day. Tom is mean, maniacal, conniving, deceitful, and charismatic.
3: Tom and matt do not get along. Whenever no one is watching Tom is mean to Matt. He calls him a "dirty clone" and tries his best to hurt Matt's feelings, and since Matt can't talk, he can't even defend himself.
4: Tam Lin is Scottish, smart, and jacked.
5: It means that he rose above everyone else, and became the alpha dog, but during the process, he had to do bad things, and these bad things may have damaged him in some ways and he still hasn't recovered.
6: He says that choices from childhood end up affecting how your life will go. If you make good choices as a kid you will most likely end up a decent man. The same thing if you make bad choices.
7: I think that it means as they get older the cloned cells probably start to malfunction causing the clone to become damaged (mentally and possibly physically).
8: The teacher acts very dumb. You can tell her something and by the end of the day she has completely forgotten. It is like she has no short term memory, and continually makes the same mistakes over and over.
9: Matt gets so fed up with the teachers shenanigans that he finally yells at her that he hates her teaching and that he hates her. This leads to him being able to talk normally just as he could before he was locked away.
10: He says that he is a bad clone. This means that Tom is getting through to him with all his insults and that he doesn't have very good self esteem.

ReplyDelete1. The servants treat Matt very badly. They ignore him like he is a "bug on the wall". The servants have the same opinion as other people, that they don't like him.
2. The relationship between Tom and Maria almost seems phony. He is so cruel to her than acts like nothing happens and Maria believes it.

3. Matt and Tom do not get along because he always ruins Matt's things like his teddy bear. Matt said that he wanted to kick Tom which proves that he doesn't like Tom.

5. By large and green I think Tam Lin meant that he grew very wealthy and rich. When he says that his branches are twisted, it almost sounds like Tam Lin thinks El Patron is crazy.

7. I think the doctor means that they fall apart mentally and cannot control themselves. Also, that they go crazy and have no idea what they are doing.
8. The teacher acts very peppy and cheerful. She seems like shes almost a robot and not a real person. She seems almost too nice and too cheerful to be a real human being.
9. Matt finally gets so worked up and annoyed with the teacher that he finally snaps and says that he is not a good boy but a bad clone. He gets so mad with doing the same thing over and over that he finally speaks. Tam Lin eventually has to escort her out of the room.

ReplyDelete2.Tom is treating Maria like garbage and throws stuff her. But Maria is so lost she always forgives him no matter what. Tom is probably nice to her for like two hours and then goes back to his normal self.
3. Tom and Matt do not get along at all because it al started at the beginning when Tom made fun of Matt when he was in prison and Matt whipped a rotten orange at him and now they both hate each other.

3. Tom and Matt don't get a long at all Tom hates Matt because he is a clone and Matt thinks that is bad and Matt shouldn't be alive. Matt doesn't like Matt because Tom is rude to Matt because Matt is a clone, Even though Matt doesn't say anything to Matt you can tell Matt doesn't like Tom.
4. Tam lin is very careful of Matt, he is also very intimidating, like when the doctor is working on Matt, and the doctor was sweating. Then finally Tam Lin is also very protective of what people do or say about Matt.

ReplyDelete2. Tom usually ends up making María cry, by either being mean to her or bossing her around. She always forgives him in the end, but Tom never changes. Tom is: bossy, rude, a bully, selfish, ignorant.
3. No, Tom and Matt absolutely do not get along. It all started after Tom said some rude things to Matt, and Matt flung a rotten orange in his face. And now, Matt sees that María still likes Tom, even after how mean he has been to the both of them, he really doesn't like Tom, or María.

5. I think that means that as he was growing up he was very powerful but when he was mean and powerful. He could use his power for good or bad things and I am guessing the twisted branches means that he used his powers for bad things not good.

10. Matt said that he is not a good boy but a bad clone. This says a lot about the way he thinks about himself and about his self-esteem level. His self-esteem is very low because he is pretty much saying that he is not good but he is just like what everyone thinks he is.
