2. Matt worries that Jorge is coming back and that he won't be able to escape him. Who arrives to help?

5. What do Matt and Fidelito decide to do?
1. Matt was at the top of the pit, and was freezing. He was waiting for Chacho to wake up, and help him crawl to the top. Matt wanted to be quick, because he was worried if the keepers would return to check on them.
ReplyDelete2. While Matt is waiting for Chacho to emerge from the bones, Ton-Ton and Fidelito arrive in the shrimp harvester to help them escape.
3. Ton-Ton brings the harvester to edge of the pit, and reaches the mechanical arm down into the pit and starts removing the bones from on top of Chacho. Matt is nervous because of slow Ton-Ton is working, he tries to suggest other ways to help, but Ton-Ton rejects them. Then Ton-Ton finally closed the claw around Chacho and pulled him to the surface.
4. After Fidelito and Ton-Ton mention a couple times that all of the keepers are asleep, Matt asks how they could be sleeping for so long. Then he realizes that Ton-Ton gave them laudanum to knock them out. Matt asks how much he gave them, and all Ton-Ton says is "enough."
5. Ton-Ton suggests that Matt and Fidelito walk to San Luis, and so the two are given flashlights and set off for San Luis.
1: Matt is just escaping from the pit. He is tired and cold, and even worse, he thinks that Chacho is dead because he isn't answering to anything Matt is saying.
ReplyDelete2: Matt is worried that Jorge will return, so when he hears mechanical clanking and can see a vehicle in the distance, he is worried that it is Jorge, but it turns out that it is Ton Ton on the shrimp harvester coming to help Matt.
3: Ton Ton very carefully uses the crane of the shrimp harvester to lift the bones off of Chacho and picks him up with the crane and brings him out of the pit.
4: When Matt hears that the Keepers are asleep, he wonders how they could still be asleep. Ton Ton tells him that he gave them an over dose of laudanum and all of the boys barricaded them in. Matt realizes that this is their chance to escape. They then set off on the shrimp harvester.
5: Since Chacho is injured, they decide to put Chacho in the cab of the shrimp harvester, and to ride on the outside of the shrimp harvester.
1. Matt is out of the pit and very cold. So, he goes back into the pit to try and find Chacho and help him out.
ReplyDelete2. Matt is worried that the Keepers will come and check on them to make sure that they aren't close to the top and that they are dead. Fedelito and Ton-Ton come with the shrimp harvester to help him get Chacho out.
3. They use the mechanical arm of the shrimp harvester and they reach the arm in to pull Chacho out.
4. Matt realizes they are knocked out from the laudanum and they would not know if they escaped.
5. Matt and Fedelito decide to take turns riding on the shrimp harvester while the other walks beside it.
1. Matt and Chacho are still in the bone yard. Matt thinks Chaco is dead.

3. They get Chacho out with the shrimp harvester claw.
4. Matt realizes that Ton-Ton gave the Keepers more laudanum then they usaly had at night.
5. Matt and Fidelito decide to start walking because then they might be able to get help for Chacho because the boys didn’t know if he would be able to last the night.
1. Matt hD reached the top of the pit but Chacho was still sleeping, he whites until he work up but he wanted to go fast. Matt was scared the Keepers would come back to see them.

3. Chacho was struggling to get out so they used a mechanical arm from the shrimp harvester to pull him out.
4. Ton-ton gave them to much laudanum and the boys barricaded them in so Matt knew that it was the right time to escape.
5. They decide to take turns on the shrimp harvester while the other two walked beside it. This way if they got tired, they switched places.
1. Matt gets out of the pit and is cold but he goes back in the pit because Chacho is sleeping in the pit.

3. they use the arm from the shrimp harvester to get Cha Cho out of the bone pit.
4. Matt realized that since that took laudanum they wouldn't remember that they escaped when they wake up.
5. They decide to take a brake and take turns riding the shrimp harvester while the other walk near by them.
1. Matts situation is he is standing on top of the bone pit waiting for his friend to wake up so they can escape but he is hoping he wakes up soon before the keepers come and find out he is trying to escape.
ReplyDelete2. The two kids that come and help them are from the orphanage and their names are Ton Ton and Chacho.
3. They find a arm from the shrimp harvester to get Chacho out.
4. Ton Ton gave the keepers too much landanum so matt went out to escape because the keepers are sluggish and weak. plus when you get drunk you don't remember the things fromt he night before.
5. They deicide too take a break and have fun riding an shrimp harvester.

ReplyDelete1) Matt's situation is that he is outside of the pit, meanwhile Chacho is still in the pit. Also Matt is freezing and can't hear Chach, he thins Chacho might be dead.
ReplyDelete2) When Matt is worried he thinks that a keeper might be coming but he realizes that its just Ton Ton and Fidelito riding Ton Ton shrimp harvester.
3) Matt, Ton Ton and Fidelito get Chacho out by using the bucket of the shrimp harvester. They remove all the debris above him with the shrimp harvester. Then when the debris is cleared they use the bucket to get Chacho and get him out.
4) Matt realizes that the kids must have barricaded then and gave them laudanum.
5) Matt and Fidelito decide to break the fence with the shrimp harvester and go to San Louis
