  1. 1) the lost boys and girls are orphans that's parents ether left them or got captured and turned into an eejit. Then they all come here to the work place to work until they are 18
    2) I think that everyone hates the keepers because they are always treating them badly and not caring about them. Even if something goes wrong they won't care.
    3) opium is called dreamland here because no one really knew what was past it's borders. They say that in dream land there are a bunch of zombies and that there is a vampire king in the castle. Surrounding this there is a bunch of chupacadras in the outskirts of the castle.
    4) the orphans think that there parents crossed the border fine and they are living wonderfully rich in the states. Then after this happened they will come and get them. What really happens is they get zapped by a gun and then they get made into an eejit.
    5) the boys are doing a lot of different things some of them are weaving are measuring. They are doing anything that involves work.
    6) individualism is not promoted because when they are telling a story about the boat that one person is not rowing the right way so they are also saying basically that they are saying that there is no individualism here in Aztlan
    7) what happens is that when
The keeper is telling a story they are telling a story about a five legged horse, Matt said that why don't you put a chip in its brain. When this happens everyone gasps because they don't do that here. I agree with Matt because then the horse will just fall and can never be able to walk. But them if you put a chip on there brain them you can do what ever you want with them.

  2. 1. They are kids who have no known family, and who escaped across the border to Aztlán. They are then basically used as slaves.
    2. The boys know the keepers could care less about them, so the boys don’t like the keepers. The keepers are lying to them, and some of the kids know it but can’t do anything about it. Chacho says he doesn’t like the keepers directly to their faces, and they don’t seem to care too much.
    3. In Aztlán, Opium is referred to as Dreamland, and no one knows what really happens there. They say it is ruled by an evil vampire king (El Patrón), and the land is swarmed with monsters, like chupacabras.
    4. The kids like to believe that their parents are living somewhere in the US, but Matt knows they probably have been turned into eejits.
    5. The lost boys are working like slaves, they are doing whatever work the keepers tell them to do without question.
    6. Individualism is strongly discouraged, this is because the people in Aztlán believe that everyone should stick to the job they are given. This is because they think in order for Aztlán to maintain a strong economy, everything must be done with the highest level of efficiency.
    7. When the keeper tells the story of the five legged horse that fell over because of a leg that goofed off, Matt suggests they should turn it into a safe horse. Everyone thought the idea was insane, because there were no eejits in Aztlán. Raúl considered Matt mental. I think Matt is just so used to the ways of Opium, and I think if he was raised elsewhere he would’t have made that suggestion. I don’t think eejits should be used, so I would have to disagree.

  3. 1: They are the kids who have lost their parents and have become orphans. They are taken care of by the keepers.
2: They all hate the keepers because the keepers don't treat them very well. They give them the same food every day and don't let them have any fun. Chacho openly speaks his opinion of the keepers which isn't very good.
3: Opium is called "Dreamland" and know one knows very much about it. They think it is a very mysterious place and that it is run by a vampire (El Patron).
4: The orphans think that their parents made it across the border and are now in the US and are rich. Matt knows that they were almost certainly captured by the Farm Patrol and turned into eejits.
5: They are doing menial tasks like making sandals or vitamins. It is whatever work the keepers tell them to do because according to the keepers, they still owe them.
6: It is strongly discouraged. They almost want everyone to just be robots who do their jobs and don't ask any questions. They want everyone to be equal, almost like a Communism.
7: Matt relates the way that Raul wants everyone to be the same and work the same amount, to all of the eejits doing the same work and pulling their own weight with out asking any questions. This angers Raul because in Aztlan turning people into eejits is strongly frowned upon. I agree that the way they discourage individualism is almost like turning them into eejits.

  4. 1. The lost boys and girls are kids with no families. So, these kids work at the orphanage. The kids are then used to work and basically act as slaves.
    2. No one likes the keepers because they seem to act very mean. Also, they give them no freedom; they can only do their one job and that one job only. The keepers make he kids like eejits because eejits can only do one job and one job only. Except, the kids are capable of doing other jobs, but the keepers only let them do their specified job. Chacho is the one who says that he hates the keepers.
    3. The kids and Keepers call Opium "Dream Land". In Aztlan, nobody really knows what happens in Opium. They refer to El Patron, the leader of Opium, as an "evil vampire".
    4. The kids think their parents are living in the US. They think their parents are coming back for them once they have enough money to come back and get them. However, Matt knows nobody ever escapes from Opium to the US and he thinks the kids parents were turned into eejits and are now probably working in the Opium fields.
    5. The boys are working basically like slaves on whatever job their supervisors, the keepers, tell them to do.
    6. The keepers of Aztlan do not encourage the fact of individualism. They do not like individualism because they want to only do what the keepers tell them to do and not to be themselves and act like their own selves.
    7. While Raul was telling the story of the five legged horse, Matt says that they should have just turned it into a safe horse and not amputate the slow fifth leg. Raul becomes very angry and thinks it is the most outrageous thing he has ever heard. I do not agree or disagree with Matt because you can't blame him for saying that because it is all that Matt has ever known so he didn't know any better.

  5. 1. The kids that are lost have no family so they are keep at the orphanage, they are fed very well but in return they kind of act like slaves.
    2. No ones likes keepers because they only let the lost kids do one job, they aren't allowed to do anything else so this makes them like eejit's. The kids can do other jobs its just they aren't alloyd to. Chaco is the kid that openly says that he doesn't like the keepers.
    3. The people of Atzlan refute to Opium "Dead Land." They say this because they do not like El Oatron in which they refuse to him as an "Evil Vampire."
    4. The lost kids think that their parents are In the United States but don't have enough money to get them but they think that when they do, they will return to Atzlan to get them. Matt thinks the farm patrol probably caught them and were turned into eejit's, because of this, their parents would never be able to get their kids back because they are only capable of doing their job that they were given when being turned into an eejit's.
    5. The boys are doing whatever the keeper that is watching them tells them to do which makes the boys like slaves.
    6. The people in Atzlan can't can do anything by themselves because the keepers don't like that so they act like each other and do thing like each other.
    7. When the keepers tell the story about the horse with the fifth leg and Matt said they they should turn it into a safe horse, Raul got mad because there were no eejit's in Atzlan. I would have to disagree with Matt but that is the only thing that he has ever known since he is from Opium.

  6. 1. The lost kids are people who are deserted by their parents and some are turned into eejits and they work for the orphanage then they get released when they are 18.
    2. Every body hates keepers because they only let kids do one job and they never give the kids any time to do their hobbies and Chaco keeps on saying he hates them and i agree with him because they sound like they suck.
    3. Opium is called "Dream land" and people say a evil vampire runs the land but the evil vampire is El Patron.
    4. They think that their parents are living in the states but don't have enough money to take care of them but when they do they will come back for them but matt knows that when El Patron has something he never lets go he thinks they are turned into eejits.
    5. The kids are doing work the keepers tell them to do.
    6. the people that live in Atzlan are not free to do anything and act like each other.

  7. 1. they are kids that don't know there family and nobody else does either. then they snuck over the boarder to Aztlan and now they are slaves.
    2. Nobody likes the keepers because the keepers are very mean and very strict. They can only do there job that they are told to do they can't do anything else. Chaco is the one that sias that he hates the keepers.
3.Opium is called dream land. The thing is they say that there is a big vampire that goes around "Dream Land" but in reality the vampire is El Patron
    4. The boys think that there parents are somewhere living in the USA but Matt thinks that they have been turned into eejits.
    5. The boys just do whatever the Keepers tell them to do. If a keeper said to do something the boys would have to do it.
    6. Individualizem is not encouraged at all they say this because they want the boys to do the jobs that the keepers tell them to do if they were individual they would do what they want to do.
7.When raul was telling the story of the horse that kept on falling Matt just said to turn the horse into a safe horse. They all didn't agree because in Aztlan they don't have eejits. I think that if i was in Matts position and only knew what Matt knew I would have to agree with Matt.

  8. 1. The lost boys and girls are kids who have lost their parents, who are orphans, or who are insane.
    2. I think know one likes the keepers because they are mean, bosy. Chacho was the only one who openly said he hated the keepers.
    3. The land of opium was called dreamland and people think that in dreamland there are zombies (I think the zombies are eejits) and vampire (I think the vampire is El Patrón).
    4. The orphans think ether their parents have died turned into zombies or are in the United States of America and they are going to send someone over from the U.S to bring them back to their new rich life style.
    5. The boys are making vitamins, making plastic shoes.
    6. Individualism is a bad thing because Raúl told a story about a five-legged horse and the fifth leg was individualism and he said they would cut off the individualism leg.
    7. Matt and Raúl got in an argument about the difference between cutting off the fifth leg or putting a computer chip in their brain. Matt says “Why don’t you put a commuter chip in the horse’s brain. I agree with Matt because it is just about the same. I think this because either way you are taking away their individuality.
